Opening Day – 14th November 2015

Ice Skate Birmingham and the Birmingham Observation Wheel opened today, Saturday 14th November 2015 with a huge success.

The Lord Mayor of Birmingham and Santa officially opened the day with help from Steph’s Skate School, Birmingham City Council Choir and Capital FM.

A touching carol was performed for the people in Paris who lost their lives last night in the terrorist attack.

Thank you to everyone who came to Centenary Square, Broad Street this morning to be part of the opening and we hope everyone enjoyed their time on the Ice and the views from the Big Wheel.
